Constructii Feroviare Galati SA is a private Romanian company, established in 1991, separated from S.N.C.F.R., with headquarters in the municipality of Galati. Its activity focuses on the construction and repair of railways, bridges, viaducts and civil and industrial works, but also on the manufacture of metal and wooden structures, consolidation works and shore defences, as well as runways for ports and airports. The history of the company dates back to 1954, when a railway construction site was established in Focsani, and in 1966 a similar site was opened in Galati. These construction sites were later integrated into various structures, including the Galati Railway Construction Group, which evolved into Constructii Feroviare Galati SA in 1991.
