Continental has eight production units and three research and development centers in Timisoara, Sibiu, which Arad and Iasi. Continental Timisoara produces pipes for car air conditioning systems and belts, and when, cooling hoses. By the end of 2009, the Continental Corporation invested over 370 million euros in activities in Romania. In October 2010 Continental Romania had 8,300 employees, of which 1,600 in Timisoara. Together with its Divisions Chassis & Safety, Powertrain and Interior, Continental hast ten years of constant business in Romania.
