Elba SA (Romania)

Since 1990 , the company is named Elba SA, and in the year 1995 ELBA becomes a private company. In the year 1997 , ELBA participated , together with the Dutch holding Philips, at the founding of a joint-venture company in the street lighting field , named Philips and Elba Street Lighting SRL. In 2008 and 2010 begin the design works on the new production site located in The Industrial Park Freidorf of the Timisoara City Hall. In 2011 it has been accomplished the transfer of production for the automotive products onto the new location. Completion of transferring the entire activity is scheduled for 2012, altogether with setting onto the new production site the maufacturing of general lighting fixtures, thus re-joining the main two branches of ELBA’s activity.
