Prutul SA (Romania)

Prut SA is one of the leading companies in Romania that deals with the processing of raw materials oil, vegetable oil refining and bottling and marketing. Since 2002 oil manufacture in Galati is taken from current shareholders. And from 2004 company start an extensive investment program for the modernization of plant and significant increase in processing capacity. Prut oil factory is one of the most modern factories of the industry in Romania. Equipped with the latest equipment, the factory has a complete production (extraction, refining, bottling) and 90% automated. Prut produce and bottled sunflower oil or various mixtures and sell these products, and bulk oil, olive oil (imported from Spain Picasol own brand) and by-products - meal (used for animal feed) and fatty acids (use in cosmetics and building materials). The total storage capacity in our own facilities and silos is over 380.000 tons.
