Cosmote Romania has changed its name to Mobile Communications Telekom Romania on September 13, 2014, Romtelecom and Cosmote after rebranduirii as the Telekom Romania. Cosmote Romania was launched on Romanian market in march 1999 under the name of Cosmorom, but was rebranded as Cosmote România in 6 December 2005. Telekom Romania Mobile Communications SA provides mobile telecommunications services in Romania. It offers contract and pre-paid, international calls and roaming, voice mail, short message, call forwarding, call barring, teleconference, missed call notification, and info cost services; and mobile communication data services, such as i-mode, wireless Internet, and fax and data services. The company also develops smartphones. In addition, it offers Joyn apps service that provides customers a single application to connect via video call, text, instant messages, and group messaging; and share photos and videos over iPhone and Android smartphones.
