"Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Centre" was established in 2004. The Company carries out its activity within the territory of 457.7 thousand sq. km with population of 15.35 million people. The length of 0.4-110 kV overhead power lines of the Company exceeds 374 thousand kilometers. Activities on transmission and distribution of the electric power and connection of clients to 0.4 - 110 kV electric networks are provided by 11 grid divisions of the Company. The structure of IDGC of Centre includes the following divisions: "Belgorodenergo", "Bryanskenergo", "Voronezhenergo", "Kurskenergo", "Kostromaenergo", "Lipetskenergo", "Tverenergo", "Smolenskenergo", "Orelenergo", "Tambovenergo", and "Yarenergo" and also its subsidiary - "Yargorelektroset", 100% stake of which was consolidated in 2010. The production potential of IDGC of Centre is 2,329 substations of 35-110 kV voltage with the total capacity of 31, 403.9 MVA and 87, 317 substations of 6-10 kV voltage with the total capacity exceeding 15,191.8 MVA.
