"Steel Industrial Company" holds stocks of 150,000 tonnes of metal products of over 10,000 articles and standard sizes. The company owns a considerable part of its storage and office space. The main suppliers of the company are major metal producers of Russia and the CIS countries including MMK (Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works), NLMK (Novolipetsk Steel), NTMK (Nizhniy Tagil Iron and Steel Works), ZSMK (West-Siberian Iron and Steel Works), NSMMZ (Hardware and Metallurgical Plant of Nizhnie Sergi), Severstal, Mechel, PNTZ (Pervouralsky Novotrabny Works), STZ (Seversky Tube Works) and Mittal Steel. Its relative independence from its suppliers enables the company to optimize its logistics and supply consignments to various regions as pools in order to minimize costs.
