Trest Sevenergostroi is the oldest construction company complex of the Russian Federation; it is building on the general contract of thermal power plants, industrial and civil projects in the North-Western region of the country, also involved in their design, performs all types of construction and specialized works. Since 1994, the Trest Sevenergostroi is an Open Joint Stock Company with 25.5% of the share capital owned by the state. During the years, Trest Sevenergostroi built on the general contract all thermal power plants located in the Northwestern region, including the Baltic states. It's 28 combined heat and power (CHP) and the state regional power plants (TPP) with a total installed capacity of over 20 GW. An important achievement of the collective Sevenergostroy is participation on a competitive basis in the construction of "The Ice Palace of Sports" in St. Petersburg.
