Severstal PAO (Russia)

Severstal PAO is a company located in Cherepovec, Russia. It was incorporated on August 24, 1955 and is primarily engaged in the production and sale of metallurgical products, as well as banking, finance, and insurance. The company developed an integrated iron and steel mill in Cherepovets, which began operations in February 1959. Severstal was registered as a Joint Stock Company and privatized on September 24, 1993, as part of the Russian privatization program.
