Arab National Bank is a Saudi bank established in 1979 with the approval of the Saudi central bank, called Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA). It started operation in 1980 after taking over the commercial operations of the existing Arab Bank Limited. ANB is headquartered in Riyadh and supports regional offices in Jeddah and Khobar and an international branch in London. It offers to the retail and corporate sectors comprehensive commercial and investment services, as well as Islamic financial products. It also provides consultancy and investment services, mutual funds and assets management, local and international equity trading, foreign exchange and treasury services. Islamic services include personal finance, car lease and property acquisition financing, murabaha and letters of credit. ANB is ranked among the 15 largest banks in the Middle East with a customer base of nearly two million individuals and legal entities and over 200 branches, of which 51 are specialized for women. The owner of the bank, ANB Group has also set up an investment arm, heavy equipment leasing arm, home finance and insurance companies.
