Coop Jednota Brezno, Spotrebne druzstvo is a consumer cooperative located in Brezno, Slovakia. It is part of the COOP Jednota Slovakia, which is the oldest trading system in Slovakia. The cooperative was founded on November 29, 1968, as part of the Slovak Union of Consumer Cooperatives. In 2002, it merged with COOP CENTRUM, a.s. and changed its name to COOP Jednota Slovensko, spotrebne druzstvo. The cooperative's main mission is to provide support and services to its members and act as a purchasing, service, and marketing center for the COOP Jednota group. Its main goal is to sustainably sell food and related services to customers and cooperative members. The cooperative aims to be a sought-after, modern retailer with a focus on quality domestic and local food products.
