ČSOB Stavebná Sporiteľňa, a.s. is a company located in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was founded by ČSOB in 2000 as a specialized bank for building savings and is its 100% subsidiary. The company obtained its license in October 2000 and started offering its services on December 1, 2000. In 2006, ČSOB Stavebná Sporiteľňa became a member of the established ČSOB Financial Group. As of July 1, 2022, ČSOB Stavebná Sporiteľňa has stopped offering new contracts for building savings and new mortgage contracts. The company has decided to cover the needs of clients focused on financing home purchases and renovations through standard banking products offered by ČSOB. This decision was influenced by significant changes in the building savings market, particularly in terms of state support and the utilization of saved funds. Providing products for the appreciation of clients' financial resources and housing security exclusively through banking products has been identified as the best solution. ČSOB Stavebná Sporiteľňa is a member of the Slovak Banking Association.
