Comision Ejecutiva Hidroelectrica del Rio Lempa, is a power generation entity that operates in the national and regional market. Additionally it is responsible for promoting projects for electricity demand through renewable natural resources, such as El Chaparral and El Cimarrón and explores new and alternative sources for power generation.It has power generation plants: The Guajoyo which has an installed capacity of 15 MW, the Cerron Grande with a capacity of 172.8 MW and Cinco de Noviembre with a capacity of 67.5 MW.
