G J Steel Pcl is a Thailand-based company located in Bangkok. It was established in January 1994 and is a world-class manufacturer of Hot Rolled Coil (HRC). The company aims to substitute imports and meet domestic customer demands. The plant is situated on a 500-Rai area at Hemaraj Chonburi Industrial Estate, approximately 130 kilometers away from Bangkok. G J Steel Pcl is one of the largest steel mills in Southeast Asia. With an investment of 54 Billion Baht, it is a fully integrated steel mill consisting of various technologies. These include an Iron making plant with Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) technology, a Mannesmann Demag Steel Making plant with one of the largest electric arc furnaces in the world using ConSteel technology, an SMS CSP Plant with Continuous Thin Slab Caster and 6-stand Finishing Mill using CVC technology, a Recoil Temper Mill for improving coil flatness, a Push-Pull Picking Line for pickling and oiling steel, and a Galvanizing & Galvannealing line for preventing rust corrosion. The company's main products are Hot Rolled Coil, Tempered Hot Rolled Coil, and Hot Rolled Pickled & Oiled Product. These products are used in various industries such as mechanical tube, electrical conduits, water pipe, construction, C-section, construction scaffold, electrical pole, gas cylinder, black steam pipe, anti-corrosion, cold-rolled steel sheet, agricultural tools, general construction, profile sheets, chassis, wheel, compressor, refrigerator frame, and microwave frame. G J Steel Pcl has achieved ISO 9001, CE Mark, and OHSAS 18001 certifications since 2005, 2006, and 2007 respectively.
