Akpinar Family established the first dairy processing in Konya in 1954 as a small enterprise processing a few tones of milk per day and manufacturing cheese, yoghurt and butter. In 1977 the first pasteurized dairy products factory was established near Konya.
In 1994 the company started manufacturing milk powder and whey powder with full automatic systems. Today it produces 40 kinds of products each day with a capacity to process 1.000 tones/day milk in 25.000m2 closed area and with its experienced staff. High-quality milk produced by thousands of families from the Taurus Mountains to Ankara, from Aksaray to Isparta, in the whole Central Anatolia, is gathered in the 18 centers each day, cooled down and moved to the modern facilities in Konya.
The company is international GİMDES-certified “Halal Certificate”, TSE-EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System, TSE-EN ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System, and the Certificate of Compliance with Turkish standards.
