In 2022, BIM opened 4 new regional directorates/logistics centers and 919 new stores in Turkey, reaching a total of 10,370 stores in the country. BIM continues its growth with an effective cost management policy while prioritizing quality understanding and customer satisfaction. BIM launched its new retail model, FILE, in March 2015. FILE combines the concept of discount with the concept of a supermarket, offering a strong, fresh, high-quality, and wide variety of products. FILE operates with 202 stores and 3 logistics centers in 24 cities in Turkey. It also provides online shopping services through the FILE MARKET mobile application. Apart from Turkey, BIM also operates in Morocco and Egypt. In 2022, BIM opened 49 new stores in Morocco, reaching a total of 627 stores. In Egypt, it opened 11 stores in 2022, reaching 311 stores. As of the end of 2022, BIM has a total of 11,510 stores, including those in Morocco and Egypt. BIM contributes to the economy through its investments and employment. In 2022, it made an investment of 5.1 billion TL, mostly in the country. BIM also created approximately 10,000 new jobs in 2022 and employs approximately 80,000 people on a consolidated basis.
