Cosmos Yatırım Holding Anonim Şirketi, formerly known as "Cosmos Yatırım Ortaklığı Anonim Şirketi," was established in Istanbul in 1995 as Bumerang Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. The company's main purpose is to purchase capital market instruments, create portfolios from these instruments, and manage these portfolios. It obtained permission from the Capital Markets Board on December 20, 2013, to change its purpose and activities, and was removed from the status of an investment trust and changed its name to "Cosmos Yatırım Holding Anonim Şirketi." The company's objective is to evaluate the investment, financing, organization, and management issues of companies by participating in their capital and management, ensuring their healthy development and continuity in line with the requirements of the economy. It also conducts investment and research activities in commercial, industrial, and financial matters, invests in and operates all kinds of movable and immovable properties in Turkey and abroad, and engages in commercial, industrial, and financial investment initiatives. The company's shares were offered to the public in May 1995, and 99% of the company's shares are traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange. The company's capital is 6,494,694 TL. The company's subsidiary, Enerji Ofisi Akaryakıt Pazarlama ve Dağıtım Anonim Şirketi, was established on April 30, 2004, under the name "Parsiyel Ekspres Lojistik Uluslararası Nakliyat Anonim Şirketi." It changed its name to the current one on August 18, 2006, following a General Assembly Decision, which was registered on August 23, 2006. The company's activities are grouped under two main headings: the purchase, sale, import, export, loading, unloading, storage, and distribution of all kinds of petroleum and petroleum derivative products, as well as the establishment of filling facilities, and the purchase and sale of paintings, sculptures, and similar artworks, along with related commercial activities. The company has a total of four branches located in Antalya, Kocaeli (Derince), Istanbul (Haramidere), and Marmara Ereğlisi, to carry out its activities in the energy sector.
