Kipas Pazarlama Ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi, located in Kahramanmaras, was founded in 1984 under the leadership of the ÖKSÜZ and GÜMÜŞER families. It is the first and only holding company in Kahramanmaras and operates in 6 main sectors, including textile, cement, paper, energy, education, and logistics. Kipaş Holding has 11,000 employees and is the tax record holder of Kahramanmaras. It is among the top 100 companies in Turkey in terms of exports, with nearly $200 million exported to nearly 100 countries. Kipaş Holding is also in the ISO 500 and is among the top 250 companies in R&D. Kipaş Tekstil, a subsidiary of Kipaş Holding, is the largest integrated textile production company in Turkey and Europe. It has an annual production capacity of 80 million meters of fabric and 330 tons of yarn per day. Kipaş Tekstil is known for its Technical Textiles and R&D studies, as well as its production of washable masks and creations made from recycled plastic bottles. Kipaş Çimento, another subsidiary of Kipaş Holding, has 15 concrete facilities and a cement production factory with a total capacity of 33,000 m³/day. It produces various types of cement in accordance with Turkish, European, and American standards. Kipaş Kağıt, another company under Kipaş Holding, produces 425,000 tons of paper annually from 100% recycled waste paper. It prevents the destruction of forest areas and adds value to the economy. Kipaş Kağıt is also investing in a new paper production facility in Aydın Söke. Kipaş Holding is also involved in energy investments, with 10 geothermal power plants and various electricity generation activities. It employs approximately 400 people in total. Kipaş Holding provides educational services from kindergarten to high school in non-profit educational institutions in Kahramanmaras. The facilities are designed to provide high-level education and include a kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, and high school.
