Koc Finansal Hizmetler Anonim Sirketi, located in Istanbul, was established on March 16, 2001, with the aim of bringing together Koç Group's subsidiaries in the financial sector (Koçbank, Koç Yatırım, Koç Leasing, Koç Faktoring, Koç Portföy, Koçbank Nederland NV, and Koçbank Azerbaijan) under one roof to provide integrated financial services to customers. Since its establishment, Koc Finansal Hizmetler has been working towards its vision of becoming an internationally recognized financial group by enhancing collaboration opportunities among its member companies. In 2002, Koc Finansal Hizmetler entered the Turkish banking sector with a 50-50 partnership with UniCredito Italiano S.p.A. ("UniCredit Group"), marking the first time a foreign partner joined the company. This partnership has allowed Koc Finansal Hizmetler to gain an international dimension in line with its goal of being one of Turkey's leading financial services groups. Both shareholders have agreed on a shared vision to strengthen and grow Koc Finansal Hizmetler's position in the markets and become one of Turkey's leading financial groups. In 2005, with the acquisition of Yapı Kredi Bank shares by Koçbank, Yapı Kredi Bank and its subsidiaries (Yapı Kredi Portföy, Yapı Kredi Yatırım, Yapı Kredi Leasing, Yapı Kredi Faktoring, Yapi Kredi Yatırım Ortaklığı, Yapı Kredi Sigorta, Yapı Kredi Emeklilik, Yapı Kredi Bank Nederland, Yapı Kredi Bank Moscow, etc.) became part of the group. In 2006, the legal merger process was completed with the transfer of Koçbank to Yapı Kredi Bank, and the new entity decided to continue its operations under the name "Yapı Kredi." This marked the largest merger in the history of Turkish banking. The company, which was initially established with a capital of 100,000 TL in 2001, now has a fully paid-up capital of 6,400,600,000.00 TL.
