Metro Ticari ve Mali Yatirimlar Holding A.S. is a company located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was established in 1977 in Van as a World Bank Project under the name Van-Et A.S. Initially, the company focused on breeding and slaughtering cattle, ovine animals, and poultry, as well as the production and marketing of meat and related products. Since its establishment, Metro Holding has experienced continuous development. In 1985, it laid the foundation for integrated meat facilities, and in 1988, it established Van-Et A.S., which is currently one of the largest integrated meat facilities in the country. In 2006, the management of the company was transferred to Metro Group, and in 2009, the company underwent restructuring and changed its name to Metro Commercial and Financial Investments Inc. It transformed into a holding company and currently operates under the name Metro Ticari ve Mali Yatirimlar Holding A.S. Within Metro Holding, there are 17 subsidiary companies operating in various sectors such as tourism, food, mining, and energy. The holding has a capital of 300,000,000 TL.
