Orçay Ortaköy Tea Industry and Trade Inc. is a company located in Güneysu district of Rize province in the Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey. It was established in 1986 with a daily tea processing capacity of 30 tons. In 2011, Orçay expanded its capacity with the completion of a new factory building and made new equipment and machinery investments between 2011 and 2014. In 2012, the packaging facility investment was completed and put into operation. In 2014, Orçay diversified its product range by including herbal-based tea production in addition to traditional tea and derivatives through the investment in a green-white tea facility. Orçay became the first and only company in the tea sector to be listed on the Stock Exchange and managed by the third generation with its initial public offering in 2021. With years of experience in tea production and proven experts in tea tasting, Orçay has reliable tea farming areas. They work with approximately 2,000 tea farming farmers and process 180 tons of fresh tea per day, producing 3,000 tons of dry tea and 10,000 tons of packaged tea annually in an area of 11,000 square meters. Their tea is harvested in the Eastern Black Sea region, leaning against the Kaçkar Mountains. They carefully harvest unique and delicious teas from the most special regions of the Eastern Black Sea. They also promote sustainable quality by choosing high-quality and specially cultivated tea plants.
