Sönmez Cotton Industry Inc., Co., established under the frame of Sönmez Industry Holding, has become one of the leading cotton-type yarn producers of Turkey, by including five independent yarn establishments, which have totally 135.000 spindles capacity, into its own structure, as the time passes. Sönmez Cotton Industry, which has annual production capacity as 17.000 tons (average Ne 28/1) yarn and 4.500 tons round-plait, has been established with machinery park covering the advanced technologies of the world, such as Rieter Preparation and Spinning Group, Savio Reeling Group, etc. Furthermore, the Tandem-type Loptex Foreign Fibres Sorting System is used at Carded Cotton preparation lines. An effective quality control program is being applied at yarn establishments by means of 3 separate laboratories, which are active 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.
