Vanet was established in Van, Turkey in 1977. After putting into operation the integrated meat facility, It started production in 1988. Nowadays the company has facilities for ovine and bovine stock farming and turkey breeding farm located on 563 acres of land, having 24,000 square meters of indoor area. The daily slaughtering and chopping capacity is around 250 bovine, 1250 ovine stocks and 4000 turkeys. In the delicatessen production line with capacity of 20 tons various sausage, salami, fried meat, ham, and dried meat are daily produced. The waste and left-overs are processed in rendering plant and bone meal and oil products such as rendering are obtained. The plant also has a storage space with capacity of 1,500 tons for raw materials and finished products.
