Chung Hwa Chemical Industrial Works, Ltd (Taiwan, China)

Established in 1956, Chung Hwa Chemical Industrial Works, Ltd. is the first private sulfuric acid plant in Taiwan. Products of the plant are mainly Inorganic chemicals related to the downstream sulfuric acid industry and the application fields include water treatment, cleaning agents, papermaking, printed circuit board etching, cleansing and rinsing. In 1995, the company entered the organic special chemical field as a result of merger and acquisition with a major client. Ever since, the scope of business has expanded to cover special chemical products such as dyestuff, plastic, chemical fiber, wafer, and substrate. To meet the different application fields, the management has continued to recruit R&D talents, improve production technology and expand production facilities, notably analytical instruments. In 2000, Chung Hwa went public and currently stocks are being traded in the Taiwan Stock Exchange. While expanding its core products, the company has further pushed the developments of ther core sulfuric acid business. Apart from the solid production technology and customer relationships accumulated over the years, it also aggressively promotes R&D capability on new products and builds up cordial interactive relations with fellow traders in the industry. The company was ISO9002 certified in June 2000 and ISO9001:2000 certified in October 2002.
