Founded in November 2007, Danen Technology Corporation is a professional manufacturer of solar wafers. It began the mass production in September 2008 and issued public offering in September 2009.The Company expects to trade as Emerging Stock at GreTai Securities Market in October 2009. Danen is one if the few Taiwanese manufactories that possess the technology of polysilicon chips and metallurgical grade silicon wafer (UMGSi) chips. The main products of are solar polysilicon chips and PolySichips. The company has the technology of 160 ~ 180μm thin wafer slicing, and a number of crystal growth technology are patents. In 2008, Danen has developed a specialized production of metallurgical silicon wafers of polycrystalline silicon, validated by the European and American major manufacturers. All in all, the company is still in the early stages of production operation. Domestic firms in this industry are Sino-American Xi Jing, He Jing, Lv Neng, Xu Jing and etc. The main material suppliers are KOMEX accounted for 57%, ADVANTEC 10%.
