Green Energy Technology (GET) is a leading manufacturer of multicrystalline solar wafers based in Taiwan and China. GET was established in 2004 supported by one of the largest groups in Taiwan TATUNG. Our main products, multicrystalline solar wafers with different power outputs, are sold to solar cell and module manufacturers in major markets globally, such as Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea, India, Europe and United States. GET also sell multicrystalline ingots and bricks upon customers’ request and enter into service processing arrangements with OEM customers, under which GET process polysilicon feedstock provided by our OEM customers into ingots and wafers. Using proprietary manufacturing processes and extensive know-how, GET manufactures solar wafers from a wide range of silicon raw materials, including polysilicon, and reclaimable silicon raw materials such as scrap wafers, pot scrap and tops and tails of ingots sourced from suppliers and semiconductor manufacturers. We have achieved a high recycling rate of the reclaimable raw materials and consumables produced from our manufacturing processes to build up more environmental friendly business. This approach affords us also significant cost advantages over many of our competitors. Our solar wafers are comparable in quality and performance to global peers because of our proven process technologies. GET currently produce two types of high quality solar wafers: High Efficiency Wafer and Super Wafer with conversion efficiency 16.2%~16.4% and 17% respectively. GET have a proven track record of rapid capacity expansion and have achieved scalable manufacturing operations. GET began producing ingots and solar wafers with an initial annual production capacity of 25 MW in 2005, and have expanded annual production capacity to the current level of 360 MW. We plan to further expand our annual production capacity to 500 MW in 2nd quarter of 2010. In June 2007, as part of our strategy to diversify our product offerings and to capitalize on our affiliate’s expertise in thin-film technology, GET launched a new expansion project to develop and manufacture G8.5 thin-film PV modules using amorphous silicon (a-Si) technology, which GET believe is one of the advanced thin-film technologies currently available. GET manufacture thin-film PV modules with a conversion efficiency of 7.0% using a turnkey production line purchased from Applied Materials Inc.. GET began test volume production of full size (2.6m x 2.2m) thin-film PV modules in December 2008 and reached an annual thin-film capacity of 45 MW at end of 2009, and developed also alternative products see-through and BIPV modules. GET have experienced significant growth since our inception in June 2004.
