Harvatek Corp. was founded in March 1995 and started mass production in July 1996. In July 1999 it made up public offering and obtained ISO9002 certification in August. In March 2002 the company was QS9000 certified and was listed officially in OTC. In August 2003 it transferred to be listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange. Harvatek is principally engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture and testing of semiconductor chips and light emitting diode (LED) packages. The company mainly provides surface mounted device (SMD) LEDs, which are primarily used as luminous sources for communication products, information technology (IT) products, household appliances, computers, toys, automobiles, as well as security industry and photo electricity industry, among others. The company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, the Americas and Europe.
