In December 1996 Health & Life Co.,Ltd. was established. In March 1997 it developed Desktop Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor and in December it passed the ISO-9002 and EN46002 quality certification. In January 1998, it developed ultra-thin sheet-type wrist blood pressure monitor and in July passed the European CE0344 certification. In June 1999, it developed touch blood pressure and in October it changed to a limited company. In December it went listed with the approval of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and obtained "touch blood pressure" patent. In May 2000 it obtained "replacement for the mercury sphygmomanometer blood pressure measurement using the electronic device" patent. In May 2001, it obtained "with electronic thermometer electronic blood pressure measuring devices" patent. In January 2003 the mainland subsidiary was put into mass production. In March the company’s name was changed to Health & Life Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd.. In June, the company went public.
