IST was established in 1994. It went public in 2003 and went listed in 2004.IST technology comes from Industrial Technology Research Institute of Electronic. The products are mainly for domestic sale. The customers are mainly IC design companies. IST belongs to IC service industry. It lies in two main parts. The first part comes from the change of the new product line by IC design companies and a miniature wafer processing. The second part comes from the changes of the packaging process and the impact of lead-free manufacturing process. Sip (system inpackage) and new packaging type are in replacement program. IST makes layout in three areas: the eco-labeling validation, automotive electronic validation and packaging validation platform.
