Kuen Chaang Uppertech Corp. was established in 1987 as a sale agent of semiconductor components. The current equity capital is NT$ 1,260 million and the Chairman of the board is Kenny Chang. The company was listed with Taiwan OTC 6265. The company’s main service is global and professional retail in semiconductors mainly including active components, passive components, memories and central processing units (CPUs). The company’s products are used for mobile phones, notebook computers, chargers, remote controllers, cordless phones, liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors, security systems, terminals, keyboards, printers, copiers, modems, main boards, switching hubs and other peripherals. So far Kuen Chaang Uppertech has main storage centers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shen Zhen, Shanghai and Kun Shan, and mainly distributes its products in domestic markets and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia. During the year ended December 31, 2009, Kuen Chaang Uppertech obtained approximately 87% and 10% of its revenue from its CPU mobile phones chip and active component businesses, respectively.
