LARGAN Precision is founded in 1987 by Group Chairman Scott Lin and the company Chairman Tony Chen, and went public in 2002. Group headquarter is located in Taichung Precision Machinery Technological Park, Taiwan. The company currently owns three factories in Taiwan, two in China, and is know as one of the world's major players in plastic aspherical lens design and production. LARGAN's products are widely distributed in the world; product lines include but not limited in lens for mobile phone, NB/laptop, tablet, automobile, and digital camera (DSC). It were publicly listed in Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) on March 11, 2002. The operation headquarters was approved on September.
