Sun-Sea Construction Corporation was set up on January 14, 1982, with the capital of NT $ 9000 thousand. In December 1989 the project of Hualian Post was awarded Taiwan Provincial Fine Construction of 1989. In December 1990, it was awarded again for Hsinchu County Council engineering. In December 1994, it was awarded again for Kaohsiung County Council engineering. In April 1997, it obtained ISO-9002 certification. On March 23 1999, its stocks went listed on OTC market. In 2001, it obtained the Fine Construction Industry Award by Construction and Planning Agency Ministry of the Interior. Its main business is to contract public buildings, including civil engineering, construction, electronics, air-conditioning engineering. In recent years the company has contracted commercial office buildings, schools, civil engineering, residential construction and others.
