TSRC was established by Glyn T.H. Ing in 1973, under the name “Taiwan Synthetic Rubber Corp.,” in line with the government policy of promoting the development of the petrochemical industry. From the island’s only manufacturer of synthetic rubber at that time through its development into a leader of the Asian rubber industry today, TSRC has always insisted on exceptional product quality, the continuous accumulation of professional capabilities, the unceasing infusion of new ideas, and the pursuit of every opportunity for innovation with the aim of giving its products infinite value and creating a sustainable enterprise. Today, TSRC is the top supplier in the Asian rubber industry and has, with its outstanding and stable quality, won the unqualified esteem and patronage of major clients throughout the region. The production of SBR, BR, TPE, and applied polymers at our Kaohsiung plant has reached an annual capacity of 218,000 metric tons, and in recent years the plant has gained international ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 certification. The company has also worked vigorously to enlarge its business territory in the Asia-Pacific region, expanding from Taiwan to establish production bases and service teams in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province; Song-Jiang Zone, Shanghai; Jinnan City, Shandong Province; and Thailand so as to satisfy its clients’ growing demand. TSRC has grown strong through innovation, transforming itself from a mere supplier of materials into the most competitive leader of the rubber industry in the Asia-Pacific region. The company makes full use of four major competitive advantages in the constant effort to upgrade quality, professionalism, and service.
