The Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. was established in 1955. In the past 55 years, Ta Ya continued innovation and advances. Production lines have expanded from basic building wiring to manufacturing 161KV XLPE insulated extremely high voltage power cables, which made Ta Ya the first company to receive 161KV Certification issued by Taiwan Power Company. In the current stage, Ta Ya operates three 161KV cable production lines. For quality assurance, Ta Ya has received QA Certification of ISO9001, ISO17025, ISO14001, IECQ QC 080000, ISO/TS 16949 and SONY GREEN PARTNER. We have also received several domestic and foreign certifications such as UL(USA), CSA(Canada), T Mark(Japan), VDE(German), TüV(German), NEMCO(Norway), Metrology and Inspection of the Bureau of Standards, Taiwan Power Company, Chunghwa Telecom, National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior, etc... In 1985 Ta Ya constructed our Guanmiao Plant in response to market demand. To expand our production capacity and meet the market standards for 161KV XLPE insulated extremely high voltage power cables, we imported the latest manufacturing equipment from Finland in 1985. Thanks to the efforts of our R&D engineers and technical partnership with advanced power cable manufacturers overseas, Ta Ya received Taipower certification in 1994 for our 161KV XLPE insulated extremely high voltage power cable and also became a Chunghwa Telecom qualified communications cable manufacturer. Our success is thanks to all of our dedicated employees who have worked hard to help the company to improve and expand into a diversified enterprise.
