1. Established in May 1998, TaiDoc Technology Corp. was mainly engaged in design of the measurement-based IC of medical equipment for home care. It as restructured in 2001, transferring from IC design to the manufacturing, which are restructured into a manufacturer of home-care medical equipment and medical care. a. Currently the main products are blood glucose measurement machine and blood glucose measurement chip for home-care. . b. The overseas sales account for 94% (America accounting for 51%, Europe accounting for 21%, Middle East accounting for 11%, Asia accounting for 10%). The gross margin keeps 50%. The domestic market accounts for 1.8%. 2. In the global blood glucose measurement machine market, there are mainly European and American factories, among which Johnson & Johnson and Roche accounts for 70% in the market. The top four factories are Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Abbott account for 92% in the world. Due to the higher threshold for the technology of domestic manufacturing, there are only a few factories such as Wuding, Taixin and TaiDoc, which have the experience of mass production. In the level of market share, Taibo is similar to Wuding, while the market share of Taixin is much smaller. 3.
