Taiwan Fertilizer Co., Ltd. was established on May 1, 1946. Originally a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), it was privatized on September 1, 1999, and is now a listed private corporation. The company has been the largest fertilizer manufacturer and supplier in Taiwan responsible for providing stable and abundant fertilizers to meet domestic agricultural needs and is also a major contributor to the development of Taiwan's agricultural economics.
