Ten Ren Tea Co., Ltd. was founded on December 11, 1975 and set up a modern tea factory located in north-south line, namely Fragrant Tea Factory which operated as a sightseeing tea factory and led the trend of the industry. The company made public offering in 1993 and was officially listed in OTC on March 13, 1997. On January 20, 1999 the company was listed officially on Taiwan Stock Exchange. Ten Ren Tea Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the production and distribution of tea leaves, tea sets and beverages. The company provides specialty tea products such as oolong tea, packaged tea products, tea gifts, tea sets, tea food, tea moon cakes, tea wines, green tea powder and green tea cookies, among others. The company also involves in the operation of regular chain retailing stores in Taiwan. It distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets, with Taiwan as its major market. During 2010, the company obtained approximately 61.71% and 26.44% of its total revenue from tea products and tea food, respectively.
