Joint Line (stock) company was established on February 2, 2000. On June 1, 1999, Internet Division was established and the United News Net (udnnews.com) was promoted to be on the line. In 2000 United Online Inc. (udn.com) was established. In 2000 Joint Newsletter (udnpaper.com), Joint Chase Star Networks (udnstars.com) and Joint Knowledge (udndata.com) were on the line. On April 25 Joint Financial Network (udnemoney.com) began its operation. On June 21, 2002 the company completed Central Kitchen of wireless technology and launched Joint News Network i-mode station. On December 03, BBC News, United Chasing Constellations and Joint Financial Network are integrated to use the domain: udn.com. On October 1 the shopping channel was established. On September 16 Joint Knowledge completed the digital engineering of News Archive. On January 25, 2005, UDN and Joint Knowledge were elected as famous trademarks by Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs. On May 12 Joint Knowledge launched three databases: "Scientific American Knowledge," "Shadow hunting masters" and "Chinese Gallery" to provide platform services.
