Founded in 18th June 1992, Unicon Optical Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of contact lens products. Its products can get European CE and domestic GMP certifications every year. Company stock issued public offering on July 2010. It began to trade as Emerging Stock at GreTai Securities Market on 15th September 2010. The source of revenue is entirely the sale of contact lenses. Unicon only takes a small market share in contact lenses industry. In this industry, there is Johnson & Johnson in USA. In the domestic, the largest company is Jing Hua Optical. And there are other companies like Chia technology and Shi Yang Tech. The main products can be divided into two categories. One is traditional contact lenses. These lenses have hard and soft patterns. At present Unicon only produce traditional soft contact lenses. Another is disposable soft contact lenses. These contact lenses are the large parts in the market. Unicon’s products mostly cover all types of aisposable soft contact lenses.
