United Oriental Glass Industrial Co., Ltd (Taiwan, China)

In September 1990, United Oriental Glass Industrial Co., Ltd was established. It is mainly engaged in manufacturing and trading business of glass materials, glass products and glass molds. In 1992 technically cooperated with Okamoto Glass the company introduced in advanced electric melting furnace, significantly increased the glass melt quality. And the company became the first one adopting mechanical arms to replace the manual reclaimed in the glass industry. In December it was awarded the ISO9002 quality assurance system certification, which was the first time in glass and car material industry. In 1993 in conjunction with Daiwa East Seiki Co., Ltd. technical imported CNC machine tools and CAD / CAM computer-aided design software to enable the company a big forward in the mold design and production. In June 1995 the company built its own second electric melting furnace. Since then, the company has had its own electric melting furnace with advanced technology. In March 1996 it built the third electrical melting furnace. In 1997 United Oriental and Japan simultaneously developed the MITSUMISHIRV SUV headlight glass. In October 1998 public offering was issued. In December 1999, the company developed its own robot and coiling glass taking the amount of 8 tons electric furnace. In February 2000 United Oriental started to develop the mass production technology development program about high-tech optical components. This program aims to develop mass production techniques of a digital projector used in high performance optical components. In June, the second production line was transformed from five tons to six tons per day of production capacity. In Nov. the company completed the optical engine mirror test samples. In the same month it signed with foreign companies to sourcing and producing mirror equipments. It also actively involved in high-tech optical components. In April 2001, this company completed the United States COGENT projector optical engine reflector trial. In June construction of high-tech optical components production line was stared, then massively produced in August. In August 2002 the company started cooperation with Japan PHOENIX in mirror projector optical engine production program.
