Founded in March 2001, Ushine Photonics Corporation made public offering in August 2009 and applied for a list on Emerging Stock Market in October. The company is mainly engaged in development, design, manufacture and distribution of transparent indium tin oxide (ITO) films. It was the first company in Taiwan that successfully mass-produced ITO film products. Ushine's proprietary roll-to-roll sputtering technologies and product quality have made itself recognized as one of the key suppliers of transparent conductive films in the touch panel and display related industries. With expertise in material analysis, roll-to-roll vacuum coater design, and reactive sputtering process, Ushine was able to develop and produce a series of transparent conductive film products. They are key components for touch panels, flexible displays, and flexible solar cells, and many emerging products. The company distributes its products within Taiwan market and to other markets, including Mainland China and the United States.
