Yulon Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. was officially founded in October 2003 and its main business is R&D and sale of Nissan cars. To survive in the severe competition and finding future development opportunities, on May 20th, 2003, Yulon Motor, the subsidiary of Yulon Group, has been split into two independent companies to start the forth stage of corporate reengineering. One is Yulon Motor Co., Ltd. and the other is Yulon-Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. Yulon Motor has been repositioned to be a manufacturing-service company to provide the moving convenience to the consumers, and in the same time, to increase the customer-made products as well as to develop the business of automobile accessories and peripherals market. Yulon-Nissan Motor, by more collaboration with Nissan, focuses on complementing Japanese mainland China activities with research, design, and manufacturing assistance. The company has been the sales agent for the Nissan New Teana, Bluebird, Grand Livina, Livina, Tiida and Serena, and also for the imported Nissan GT-R, 370Z, Murano, Rogue, and Infiniti EX35/ FX35 / FX50 / G Sedan / G Coupe / G37 Convertible / M35. Besides that, Yulon Nissan Motor has been engaged in vehicle design and retrofit at the in-house R&D center. The company was ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 certified. In December, 2004 Yulon Nissan Motor listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. In November, 2007 it inaugurated the Yulon Nissan Design Center, becoming one of Nissan's six major design centers worldwide.
