Shkiryane Pidpryyemstvo Svitanok PrAT is a major Ukrainian company located in Lviv. The company specializes in processing leather raw materials and manufacturing a wide range of leather goods. The company was formed in the 1930s when three small leather factories, "Mazega," "Pallis," and "Tanner," were nationalized and merged into State Plant No. 3. In December 1961, it became known as the leather firm "Svitanok." From January 1976 to August 1993, it was called "Lviv State Leather Enterprise," and from August 1993 to May 2002, it was known as "Lviv Lease Leather Enterprise Svitanok." Since May 20, 2002, it has been an Open Joint Stock Company called "Shkiryane Pidpryyemstvo Svitanok." The company's main activities include sourcing leather raw materials from various sources, producing leather goods for upper footwear from cattle and pig hides, manufacturing "Krust" from cattle and pig hides, producing "Vet-blue" from cattle and pig hides, and manufacturing chrome-free tanned insoles.
